STREET LIGHTING
Presently Cantonment Board is managing 2528 numbers of street light
points as per details shown in the table. Sodium Lamps 250 watts - 958 Sodium Lamps 150 watts - 512 Sodium Lamps 70 watts - 405 Tube Fittings (40 w) - 326 Tube Fittings (20 w) - 235 High Mast Lights - 92 The Board has proposed to purchase 75 Nos Sodium Lights of 250 watt, 25 Nos Sodium lights of 70 watt & 25 Nos high mast lights during the current financial year 2004-05. It is proposed to replace the tube fittings with SVL during the plan period at an estimated cost of Rs 30 lacs approximately. |
